In the course of decommissioning the 46-year-old coal-fired power plant in Wilhelmshaven, the Düsseldorf-based energy producer Uniper commissioned the Turbo-Technik team for the professional decommissioning and dismantling of the heavy oil supply.

In addition to the numerous pipeline strings within the power plant building, the pipeline extends to the quenching bridge over a length of around 4,000m.

The basis for the decommissioning and dismantling of the pipeline, which was partially contaminated with heavy fuel oil, was Turbo-Technik’s certification as a specialist company in accordance with the German Water Resources Act (WHG) and as a company approved by the mining authority.

We are pleased to have completed the dismantling successfully and on schedule.
